Meet the Judges
Rosemary Mackenzie
Rosemary has been involved with Mellow since the early 2000’s! She grew from being interested, to learning more, to supporting programme development with one of the original programme authors, then, as the first Executive Director, she was instrumental in setting up the original Charity, and then Company Ltd by Guarantee - the status which remains to this day - by developing a Board, appointing and supporting staff and eventually being appointed CEO in 2010. No one probably knows more about Mellow’s growth than her!
After retiring in March 2023, Rosemary took a year out and in August 2024 was successful nominated as a new Board Member – she felt like she had “come home”.
She is delighted to be asked to judge the new Mellow Awards for 2025 – this is something that she herself set up back in the day and has presented many of the well sought-after Mellow Glass Trophies. She is looking forward to reading through the many applications, shortlisting and then announcing winners with the other Mellow Awards Judges.
